Puffed Paint

1 tablespoon self-rising flour

1 tablespoon salt

4 teaspoons water

food coloring

Mix flour, salt, & water until smooth. Add food coloring to desired color. Paint on construction paper. (If paper is too thin, the paint will soak through & not puff up!) The thicker the paint is on the paper the more it will puff up.

While paint is still wet, lay flat in microwave & cook for 10 seconds or until paint is dry.

This was really fun to do with CJ. He fingerpainted the paint onto construction paper and loved the end result!
