Honey Mustard Chicken
With Heaven Creamy sauce
2-4 Chicken Breast
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey
1 pint heavy cream
pepper
Brown chicken in vegetable oil. Remove from pan. Mix drippings from the pan, honey, & 2 tablespoons of mustard in seperate bowl. Spread over chicken & cover with tin foil. In the pan, whisk cream & remaining tablespoon of mustard together. Add pepper to taste. Heat until bubbling, whicking occasionally. Spoon over chicken.
First time I had this, Mike (my awesome brother-in-law) made this for our family. He should be on Food Network as a chef. He would be an entertaining tv personalilty. Oh, and did I mention he is an awesome cook? I really was skeptical of the dish because I'm not a fan of mustard of any kind. Well, I certainly ate my words "I never eat mustard" and well, really enjoyed it. So much so that I make this meal at least once a week. I like to serve it with Ranch Potatoes. I was introduced to this scrumpidilyumptious side dish by my equally awesome sister-in-law who in fact is married to Mike. I will be blogging that recipe shortly!
